Visits and Tours
*No tours available until after March 10, 2012.
We offer tours on weekdays at 2:00 P.M., whenever the fueler is available. Tours are also available most Saturdays when the fueler is not busy with fueling. We no longer have any tours available on Sundays.
Our tour van holds up to 7 people, so you can call or email us ahead to make sure there are seats available when you come, and report to our front reception/fuels office in the airport administration office when you arrive.
The tour is $5.00 per person (with a $10.00 minimum charge per tour and no charge for children under 12) and takes approximately 40 – 45 minutes. On occasion, tours are unavailable with no prior notice due to airfield operations.
Photographs are prohibited while on the tour, so please do not use cameras on the tour van. Tour van will not go through the Boneyard area where planes are stored. Once in the tour van, you will not disembark until you return to the district office.

Please check the Mojave Chamber of Commerce website: www.mojave.ca.us where further information can be found for lodging, restaurants, and other information on our immediate area.
You may also want to visit the Kern County Boards of Trade website: www.visitkern.com. There you will find interesting facts about Kern County in which the Mojave Airport is located. This site has a wealth of information from historical facts to current activities you may want to consider while in our area.
